janevercelli@gmail.com: My 10,000 hours were spent writing for the weekly Newtown (CT) Bee, the daily Waterbury (CT) Republican, United Press International (Hartford) and the Associated Press (Providence and Washington D.C.) I have written and recorded audio features for WTIC-FM radio and Associated Press Broadcast (Washington). I am the author of two books: a travel guide to New England inns and a biography of Eleanor Roosevelt for children. Most recently, I have reported stories, written features and edited for the Block Island (R.I.) Times in one of the world's last great places. In the Fall 2010 House and Garden special publication of the BI Times, my sons, Anders and Lars, and I had stories and photographs featured in the same issue.
